Dar is a Knorth randon cadet at Tentir. He is one of Jame's ten-command.
Dar tends to be overenthusiastic.[2]
He often flirts with Mint.[3] He and Damson often play tricks on each other.[4] He's very protective of the other members of the ten-command. He gets furious when a caravan driver tries to rape Damson,[4] and after Amberley attacks Brier, he leads the ten-command in a revenge mission against Amberley's ten-command.[5][6]
In The Gates of Tagmeth, he serves as ten-commander to one of the 10 ten-commands in Jame's hundred-command at Tagmeth.
