Harth of East Kenshold took me in, one more graying yondri to warm himself by his fire. Ah, he was a fine man, a lord of the old stamp.
Marc, God Stalk,
"Chapter 8: Voices of the Past"

Narth, Lord Harth of East Kenshold, was the old Lord Harth of East Kenshold.[1] He was willing to take in aging yondri, one of the few lords to do so, and Marc speaks highly of him. He rode Nathwyr, a full-blooded Whinno-hir.[1]

Narth was destroyed by changer blood, which got on him when his Keep was attacked by Gerridon's forces looking for Jame and the Book Bound in Pale Leather. He was eaten away by it slowly and died of it.[2]

Shanir[]

Like all lords and matriarchs, Narth was Shanir with the power to bind Kencyr to him.

[…] He was a brave old man and stood with us shield to shield all that long night. Their blood was his undoing. I've seen men burned less on their own pyres. The horrible thing was that he lived nearly two years after that, the flesh slowly crumbling away from his living bones.' "
